- Basic work into how patients understand medical information
- Anticipate continuation of strong registry research
- Colon cancer registry funding
- Anticipate dissemination research on screening in office settings
- Increased publication on technology assessment
- With the completion of the LCST
- Anticipate R01-level projects on use of problem solving for symptom management and preservation of function in cancer patients
- More research directed at understanding why outcomes of cancer care vary by region
- More collaboration with TDI both in the area of outcomes research and in the education program
