Chronic prostatitis/pelvic pain syndrome, inflammatory, is an
inflammation of the prostate that causes pain in the abdomen, testicles, or tip
of the penis, urination problems, and painful ejaculation. It is the most
common type of prostatitis.
Its cause often cannot be determined. Bacteria are usually not
detected in the urine, and fever, chills, or other signs of an infection are
