Philanthropy

As a society we must embrace the responsibility we have to those who are nearing the end of life. Private philanthropy and volunteers will play an enduring role in ensuring that the service, education, and research missions of the Palliative Care Program continue.

The Palliative Care Program at DHMC exists thanks to the generosity of the Byrne Foundation and other supporters. Giving to this important initiative is a special way to express appreciation for the care provided at DHMC. It is a unique way to help ease the suffering of dying adults and children and the pain and loss their families and loved ones feel.

In so doing, we demonstrate an appreciation for our own lives and the lives of our loved ones. By recognizing the good we can accomplish as lives come to an end, we improve the quality of life for all of us in Northern New England.

If you would like to make a donation to the Palliative Care Program at Norris Cotton Cancer Center, please call the DHMC Development Office at 603-653-0702.
