Outpatient Pediatric Oncology Clinic

The exceptional pediatric oncology clinic at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center provides chemotherapy, biologic therapy, and other supportive therapies to the pediatric outpatient population. A small, intimate team, we work closely with our sister clinic, the adult hematology oncology infusion suite. We enjoy a collaborative relationship with the child life specialists and social workers, who assist children through their procedures with play therapy. Nurses working in our clinic benefit from exposure to a wide variety of clinical experiences, including the opportunity to do bone marrow biopsies.

The pediatric oncology clinic offers a technologically modern environment, with private patient rooms containing reclining chairs and beds. Our supportive management group provides many opportunities for nurses to continue their professional career development, including financial support for formal education. Nurses enjoy working our valued weekday 10-hour shifts.
