Who We Are
The New Hampshire Mammography Network (NHMN) is an important study conducted in mammography centers throughout the state of New Hampshire. The information we collect will help us understand why some women never experience breast problems and why others do. The results of the study will teach women, physicians, clinics, and hospitals more about the causes of breast problems, and what kind of care is best.
Breast cancer is diagnosed in 800 to 900 women in New Hampshire each year. The NHMN study will make an important contribution to understand how breast cancer can be detected in its early stages. Early detection is an important factor in curing cancer.
