Cancer Programs/Services

As part of Norris Cotton Cancer Center's network affiliate program, Cancer Center physicians and advanced practice nurses provide specialized care to the patients at New London Hospital. Additionally, Cancer Center oncologist Marc Gautier, MD, sees patients twice a month in New London.

Oncology patients at New London Hospital receive a local option for individual care and do not have to travel a half-hour or more for treatment. At the hospital, they find high-back leather-like recliners, a naturally lighted room, and flat screen TVs. DVD players and Internet connections provide patients and their families with additional amenities that help pass the time during treatment. The goal of the new Specialty Services Unit at the hospital is to make what may be a difficult treatment as comfortable and convenient as possible.
