About Genitourinary Cancers
Cancers of the bladder and urinary tract are somewhat rare, affecting 1 of every 28 men and one of every 87 women, and are the cause of death for only one of every 133 men and one of every 309 women. Kidney cancer is rarer still, affecting 1.6% of men and less than 1% of women with survival rates above 60%.
