About Norris Cotton Cancer Center Grand Rounds and Fellows Lectures
Norris Cotton Cancer Center typically holds Grand Rounds and Fellows lectures on Thursdays from 12-1 p.m. in the Barbara E. Rubin Building at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center. Our Calendar of Events lists our upcoming lectures.
Most lectures can also be viewed live online. In addition, you can view recorded webcasts, or listen to recorded podcasts. Recorded webcasts remain available up to one year.
Receiving credit for lectures viewed online: AMA PRA Category 1 Credit is only available for lecture webcasts viewed live, in real time. The online evaluations are time-stamped, and credit will only be awarded for online evaluations submitted within one hour of the live lecture’s end time. Objectives for 2009
- Develop questions that translate the content of presentations to the context of current work and generate discussion.
- Apply new developments in the field from presentations to current practice or research.
- Plan a collaborative initiative on a topic of mutual interest.
Target Audience
Department faculty, fellows, residents, medical students, other health sciences students, nurses, allied health professionals, and community physicians.
Continuing Medical Education Accreditation and Credit Designation
- Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education to provide continuing medical education for physicians.
- Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center designates this educational activity for a maximum of 1.0 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits. Physicians should only claim credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.
