Contact Nancy Speck, PhD for more information.

The Molecular and Cellular Biology at Dartmouth training program (MCBD) includes the majority of trainers and a select group of students in the Molecular and Cellular Biology (MCB) Graduate Program, the largest graduate program at Dartmouth.

MCBD is a predoctoral training program .The requirements for the PhD for all MCB graduate students (and MCBD trainees) include: training in the responsible conduct of research, research rotations, courses, journal clubs, a term of teaching, a qualifying exam, yearly research-in-progress seminars, a thesis, a thesis seminar, and a thesis defense. When the research rotations, core courses, and qualifying exam have been completed satisfactorily, the student is advanced to candidacy for the Ph.D. degree.
