| Dr. Cornell received his BS from Wheaton College in 1962 and his MD from New York Medical College in 1966. Following services in the U.S. Navy, he completed his residency in internal medicine and a fellowship in Hematology and Oncology at the Mary Hitchcock Memorial Hospital. He has been a member of the Dartmouth Medical School faculty since 1975 and he is Director of the Hemophilia Center. |
| Dr. Cornell's research interests include the use of non-plasma derived agents for the treatment of hemophilia and the study of blood product safety in collaboration with the World Health Organization/CDC. |
