The Blood and Marrow Transplantation Program
Clinical Trials
Norris Cotton Cancer Center is a leader in both treatment and research into cancer. In addition to the best in care and treatment, we also offer patients the ability to be evaluated for participation in clinical trials. Clinical trials offer the chance to help determine if new drugs, treatments or tests should be made available to the general public.

Fewer than 4% of cancer patients participate in clinical trials despite the fact that they are closely supervised, are often free of charge, are based on years of scientific discovery and testing, and often provide the benefit of potentially better therapy. The overwhelming majority of participants report a positive experience. Clinical trials are often open to patients of all ages, and at all stages of disease.
