Dr. Murray Korc to Serve as PI for CTSA Application
Chair of the Department of Medicine, Dr. Murray Korc has agreed to serve as the PI and the Associate Dean for Clinical and Translational Research for the CTSA application, which will lead the establishment of a Center for Clinical & Translational Science at Dartmouth. Korc will continue to serve as Chair of Medicine while working on this project. The intent of the CTSA is to transform the conduct of clinical and translational reserach at Dartmouth.
Colon Cancer Screening Fair
Norris Cotton Cancer Center and the Section of Gastroenterology at DHMC will hold a Colon and Rectal Cancer Screening Fair on Wednesday, March 19, 11:00 am to 3:00 pm in the South Mall. The free screening fair will provide important information on colon cancer screening and prevention, and health professionals will be on hand to provide private consultations.
March 4: Food, Music and Crossword Fun
Circle Tuesday, March 4 on your calendar for the Cancer Center's annual lunch from 11AM - 2PM on Rubin Building levels 6, 7 and 8. Enjoy food, music, and a crossword puzzle challenge that celebrates our successes ACROSS the Cancer Center and takes a look at what's coming DOWN the road. Successful puzzlers can enter to win a portable DVD player. And don't miss the extra credit word find.
