The Atrium

This open space is designed to encourage interaction of all disciplines. It belongs to all of us - all the many scientific and clinical teams of the Cancer Center. It is meant as interactive space, allowing impromptu meetings with colleagues without agendas to spark creativity. We hope nurses will get to know basic scientists, that epidemiologists will rub elbows with geneticists, that leukemia researchers will bump into bone marrow transplant technicians. From these interactions, we believe new ideas will flow.

Note that this building is by no means the extent of the Cancer Center. We have active collaborations with scientists based on the Hanover campus at Dartmouth Medical School, at Thayer School of Engineering, at Dartmouth College, and at Tuck.
