Driving Directions to the Cancer Center

Norris Cotton Cancer Center is part of Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center (DHMC), located on New Hampshire Route 120, midway between the towns of Lebanon and Hanover. Look for the Cancer Center entrance off the Loop Road around DHMC.

From Boston area (2.5 hours), or Manchester Airport

(1.5 hours) Take I-93 North to I-89 North. Take Exit 18 for Lebanon, NH and turn right onto Route 120, toward Hanover. Follow Rt. 120 for about 3 miles to the entrance to DHMC.

From Massachusetts and Connecticut

Take I-91 North to I-89 South (just before you reach White River Junction). On I-89 South, take Exit 18 for Lebanon, NH. Turn left off the exit ramp onto Rt. 120 North. Follow Route 120 for about 3 miles to the entrance to DHMC.

From Burlington, Vermont (1.5 hours)

Take I-89 South to Exit 18 for Lebanon, NH. Turn left off the exit ramp onto Route 120 North. Follow Route 120 for about 3 miles to the entrance to DHMC.

From Rutland, Vermont (1 hour)

Take VT Rt. 4 East to the intersection with I-89 between Woodstock and White River Junction. Take I-89 South to Exit 18. Turn left off the exit ramp onto Rt. 120 North. Follow Rt. 120 for about 3 miles to the entrance to DHMC.

From St. Johnsbury, Vermont (1.25 hours)

Take I-91 South to I-89 South (just after the exit for White River Junction). Follow I-89 South to Exit 18. Turn left off the exit ramp onto Rt. 120 North. Follow Rt. 120 for about 3 miles to the entrance to DHMC.

Travel By Air

Norris Cotton Cancer Center can be reached easily by air via a number of regional airports.

Lebanon Municipal Airport serves the upper valley. As of July 2004, US Airways serves Lebanon, as do charter flights. The Airport is at Exit 20 on Interstate 89, 5 miles from the cancer center

Manchester Airport (NH) is a major international airport served by most major American and Canadian Airlines. Located near Interstate Route 89, we are approimately 60 miles northwest of the airport.

Burlington International Airport (VT) is a major international airport served by most major American (including Jet Blue and Canadian Airlines. Located near Interstate Route 89, we are approimately 90 miles southeast of the airport.

Boston Logan International Airport serves all of New England. Located approximately 140 miles southeast of the Cancer Center -- Hanover is directly connected to Boston/Logan by the Logan Shuttle many times daily (operated by Vermont Transit Lines).
